The LilyPad Arduino is a microcontroller board designed for wearables and e-textiles. Board consisting of an ATmega328 with the Arduino bootloader and a minimum number of external components to keep it as small as possible.



The LilyPad Arduino is a microcontroller board designed for wearables and e-textiles. It can be sewn to fabric and similarly mounted power supplies, sensors and actuators with conductive thread. The board is based on the ATmega328V (datasheet). The LilyPad Arduino was designed and developed by Leah Buechley and SparkFun Electronics.

 

Board consisting of an ATmega328 with the Arduino bootloader and a minimum number of external components to keep it as small (and as simple) as possible. Board will run from 2V to 5V. The latest version of the LilyPad supports automatic reset for even easier programming. The back side of this new version of LilyPad is completely flat.

 

This is small board. The outer diameter is 50mm and PCB 0,8mm thin. version of the LilyPad uses the new ATmega328 at 8MHz. Arduino 0016 supports the Arduino Pro Mini 328/8MHz. Use this setting when using this new LilyPad 328.
